Vacuum Heat Treating

Hy-Vac Technologies has two vacuum furnaces with work zones up to 24″ x 36″ x 18″, used for brazing, solution annealing, bright annealing, hardening, tempering, normalizing, stress relieving, sintering, and aging. Thermal cycles are performed at pressure levels as low as 1 x 10-5 Torr. Temperatures are accurately controlled and charted at 900°F to 2100°F.

Subzero treating is performed at temperatures of -120°F in our cold chambers to convert microstructure of retained austenite to martensite or increase wear life of tool steels.
